Macallan 1977 - 30 Year Old - Douglas Laing's Old & Rare
Truly old and rare, this 30 year old single malt harks from the renowned Speyside distillery, Macallan. Distilled in 1977, the whisky rested in a ex-sherry cask in keeping with Macallan house style for three decades before bottling in 2007. Just 175 bottles were ever yielded of this highly limited release by independent bottler Douglas Laing. Notes of seville orange and dry leaf bonfire.
Macallan 1988 - Exceptional Single Cask 2018 - ESB 3892 - 08
With only 508 bottles ever released, this limited edition from Macallan can certainly be considered a collector’s item. The 30 year old began its life back in 1988, maturing over the years in a European Sherry butt before being bottled in 2018 at 53.9%

The ‘Statement’ range from Blackadder is a step up from the bottler’s ‘Raw Cask’ series. It’s a name reserved only for the best. Here, we have Statement 53: a thirty-three-year-old Macallan, distilled in 1989.

This bottling of Macallan single malt comes from Douglas Laing’s ‘The Black Series’ of Xtra Old Particular whiskies. It’s spent an astonishing thirty-one years in the cask, including a finishing period in a sherry hogshead.
Macallan 1993 - 30 Year Old - Halcyon Release #1
This is the inaugural release from independent bottler Halcyon Spirits. It’s a Macallan, distilled in 1993 and aged for three decades in a first-fill sherry cask. The run is limited to 238 bottles. For every one sold, the company pledged to plant ten trees.
Macallan 1997 - 25 Year Old - Signatory Symington’s Choice
Handpicked by Andrew Symington of Signatory Vintage, this Macallan single malt, aged for 25 years, offers an exceptional cask strength experience. The nose reveals hints of dried apricot, subtle cinnamon spice, and delicate orange blossom. On the palate, expect a symphony of flavours including ripe apricot, warming cinnamon, and floral undertones, leading to a lingering finish with notes of dark chocolate and oak spice.
Macallan 2008 - Distil Your World London Edition - Single Cask
Here we have a bottle of The Macallan Distil Your World London Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled on 27 November 2008, matured in a single European oak sherry puncheon, this single cask bottling was selected by The Macallan Whisky Maker Steven Bremner in collaboration with Josep Roca of El Celler de Can Roca and bottled for The City of London on 20 February 2020. This was produced for the London on-trade and was available at selected hotels, bars and restaurants.
Macallan 25 Year Old - Sherry Oak
The Macallan 25 Year Old Sherry Oak won the gold award at the International Spirits Challenge and with a single sip, you’ll see why. This exceptional quality dram is a firm favourite in the global whisky community and received 100/100 from the Beverage Tasting Institute in 1999 – wow! The nose, this fine expression is quite fruity, with orange and pear aromas, along with sweet spice. This develops and becomes somewhat smoky with caramel and honey tones. The palate is wonderfully malty in the perfect way, with some notes of dried apricot, figs and prunes as well as cinnamon, nutmeg and honey. The finish is long and rich with more spice notes, oak and some light smoke on the tail. Absolute perfection!
