Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Year Old - Batch 3 Part of the Traig Bhan series is inspired by the Singing Sands of Islay, this rare Ardbeg reveals a burst of sweet, scented wood smoke billows, mingled with hints of sea-spray, as if carried on a breath of wind along a shoreline. Wisps of pine resin, aniseed toffee and a suggestion of flowering lilies follow on a breeze. Citrus zest and a touch of a cayenne pepper flood in.
Ardbeg 1991 - 33 Year Old - Symington’s Choice Rare Reserve
This mature Islay single malt, aged for 33 years, demonstrates Ardbeg's smoky character both mellowed and refined. Fully matured in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt for over three decades. It forms a a welcome peaty addition to independent bottler Signatory Vintage's 'Rare Reserve' cask strength range. Notes of toasted nuts and leather.
Ardbeg 1993 - Cask 1290 - Mackillop's Choice
A heavenly single-cask Scotch from Islay distillery Ardbeg, distilled in 1993 and bottled in a batch of 240 for the superb Mackillop’s Choice series. As you might expect, there are notes of seaweed and camphor from the cask-strength bottling, not to mention a sooty, earthy finish.
Ardbeg 1999 Galileo - 12 Year Old
Ardbeg Galileo unfortunately did not go into space like the rocket, but it certainly will take you to the stars. With a tropical smell of pineapple and coconut and a big peaty hit, before leading to its smoky palate with slat, cream and then dried apricot it’s one you’ll love.
Ardbeg 2000 - 21 Year Old - Single Cask 1565
This twenty-one-year-old Ardbeg has been matured entirely in a single cask: number 1565, which was an Oloroso sherry cask. The long maturation has lent a subtle sweet complexity to an otherwise smoky dram. Limited to 555 bottles.
Ardbeg 2001 - 19 Year Old - The Kinship
This is an entry into the Kinship series from indie bottler Hunter Laing. It’s a nineteen-year-old Ardbeg, distilled at the Islay distillery and released as part of the online-only Fèis Ìle 2021. It’s limited to a run of 264 bottles.
Auchentoshan 1966 - 44 Year Old
Great things happened in ‘66 and they had nothing to do with football. That was when Auchentoshan 1966 was sent to sleep before being gently awoken in 2011 after 44 years. It ain’t cheap, but nothing worth having ever is.

Released as part of the Vintage Cask series, this Balvenie was matured over three decades in a single cask: number 6570. The cask yielded just 231 bottles in March 2008, each of which is personally signed off by malt master David Stewart.
