Balvenie 50 Year Old - Batch 3 - Marriage 0614
The third release in Balvenie's Fifty Marriage series is a combination of seven casks selected by master blender David Stewart MBE. Resulting in just 148 bottles. Bottles have been handsomely presented in wooden tubes made with 50 layers, 48 made of wood, two of brass, to reflect how many years this whisky was matured.
Balvenie Tun 1401 - Batch 2
This is the second batch of Balvenie’s Tun 1401. It marries ten different casks: seven American Oak casks and three European oak sherry casks. The blend is rested in the distillery’s famous marrying vessel, Tun 1401 – from which this whisky gets its name.
Balvenie Tun 1401 - Batch 4
Here we have the fourth batch from Balvenie’s Tun 1401 range. Like its predecessors, it brings together seven American Oak Casks and three sherry butts, and marries them in the famous Tun 1401. The result is a wonderfully balanced combination of tradition and sherried nuance.
Balvenie Tun 1509 - Batch 1
Behold Balvenie Tun 1509, with a much larger marrying tun (four times more liquid). Matured in oak sherry butts and American oak barrels, this fine scotch has an oaky taste with flavours or orange zest, cinnamon and shortbread. With honey and vanilla aromas, you’ll feel utterly spoilt.
Banff 1976 - 46 Year Old - G&M Private Collection
The wonderfully accident-prone distillery Banff was, like many of the distilleries highlighted in this round of Private Collection releases, slated to be closed in 1983. Before they could shut the doors, however, the distillery did what it did best - and burst into flames.
This sherry-influenced single malt was distilled on 26 October 1976, during a brief period when the distillery was not on fire, and bottled by Gordon & Macphail 46 years later. Tasting notes from Gordon & Macphail: Nose: Fragrant festive spices intertwine with clove-studded orange and demerara sugar. Subtle toffee notes give way to prunes and baked apple. Palate: Rich stewed fruit flavours complement cinnamon and ginger with a hint of black pepper. Toasted hazelnuts develop alongside marzipan and mature oak.Banff 36 Year Old - Old Malt Cask - Douglas Laing
The Banff Distillery on the Moray Coast endured a terrible string of bad luck throughout its lifespan, with explosions, fires and bombing raids plaguing production until it was demolished in 1983. This thirty-six-year-old expression was distilled at Banff in 1971, and comes here in a slightly damaged box.

Benromach 1975 - 41 Year Old
Described as an unforgettable experience, Benromach 1975 delivers where it matters. The warm ginger and fresh citrus flavours fuse together to create a familiar, yet slightly unfamiliar flavour. Complimented by sugared almond, white pepper, dried tobacco and dark cocoa, this whisky is one of the best out there.
Benromach 40 Year Old - 2022 Release
The 2022-release of Benromach 40 Year Old has been matured in sherry casks to create aromas of cinnamon, ginger, Seville orange, roasted hazelnut and stewed red berries that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of Morello cherries, baked apple, liquorice, dark chocolate, fruit cake and black pepper, with hints of dark berries and rich oak lingering in the finish.
Benromach 45 Year Old
This eye-catching Benromach was distilled prior to the distillery’s temporary closure in 1983. It’s spent forty-five years in ex-sherry casks, and now forms part of the distillery’s Heritage Collection. Deep amber in colour, with plenty of sherried richness in evidence in the palate.
