Macallan Private Eye
Regarded as one of the most sought-after Macallans ever, this exceptional bottle was released in 1996 to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the renowned satirical publication, Private Eye. A limited run of 5,000 bottles was produced, incorporating whisky from a single cask dating back to 1961. What sets this edition apart is its extraordinary label, screenprinted by the iconic gonzo artist, Ralph Steadman, adding a unique touch to this collectible Macallan.
Macallan Rare Cask - Batch No. 1 - 2019 Release
The first release in the Macallan Rare Cask series in 2019, this is a stunningly presented single malt drawn from a combination of European and American oak sherry casks. The wood taste is obvious, as are piquant notes of vanilla and chocolate before the big finale, a warm and soothing finish.
Macallan Rare Cask - Batch No. 2 - 2018 Release
The number refers to its standing as the second of three 2018 releases in the Rare Cask series, an opulent and appetising malt from the Moray giants. No less than 50 sherry butts are used in the maturation process, making for a fruity dram with delectable notes of lemon and vanilla most prominently.
Macallan Rare Cask - Batch No. 3 - 2018 Release
Utilising some of the rarest supplies that Macallan have at their disposal, this is an exceptionally collectible release from the Craigellachie distillery. Only 1% of all stock makes the cut for Batch No.3, so you know that you’re dram is something truly special.
Macallan Royal Marriage - 1981 - Wooden Box
A malt fit for a King, or perhaps a Prince and Princess would be a more appropriate allegory for this one. Royal Marriage brings together a combination of whiskies distilled in 1948 and 1961, the years in which Prince Charles and Lady Diana were born. It was finally bottled to celebrate the couple’s wedding in 1981, today making for an extremely rare and collectable addition to your cabinet.
Macallan Royal Marriage - Kate & William
A special blend of two casks, one filled on April 29th, 1996, and the other on April 29th, 1999, was crafted by Macallan to commemorate the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton on April 29th, 2010. This expression from The Macallan celebrates the royal union with its aptly titled marriage of two casks. Bottled at 46.8% ABV and presented in a brushed steel presentation box, it's a truly exquisite tribute to the momentous occasion. Just like the added coloring in this expression, whether you're a royalist or not, this couple has certainly brightened up the future of the United Kingdom, symbolizing hope and unity.
Macallan Ruby - 1824 Series
Matching the shade of the ruby in the crown jewels, Macallan Ruby from the 1824 series is a wonderful no age statement expression having spent many years in fine sherry casks before bottling. Expect rich, deep flavour and divine complexity.
Macallan Sir Peter Blake - An Estate, A Community, and A Distillery
A very special release from The Macallan, created to commemorate renowned pop artist Sit Peter Blake's visit to the distillery up in Speyside. An Estate, A Community, and A Distillery pays tribute to a host of important people from Macallan's past and present, with a label digitally designed by Sir Peter Blake himself, and a single malt created by Macallan lead whisky maker Sarah Burgess. It comes in a nice presentation box, and comes alongside a scroll with Sir Peter Blake's artwork printed on it.
Macallan The Archival Series - Folio 5
Macallan The Archival Series - Folio 5 is the number five release from the Archival Series, released by Macallan to applaud iconic classic advertising from the 1970s to the 1990s. This fifth release commemorates the tale of ‘The Luggy Bonnet’, and this alluring has a wonderful nose and palate featuring notes of juicy figs and dates, some ginger, wood spice and raisins.
Macallan The Archival Series - Folio 6
Each entry into The Macallan’s Archival Series has been put together to describe a particular episode in the distiller’s history. Folio 6 details an incident in which the chairman, Allan Shiach, began to make demands of his advertising team. You’ll get a miniature book along with your whisky, making this perfect for collectors.
