Macallan Easter Elchies Black – 2018 Release

A must-have for any whisky collector, Macallan Easter Elchies Black – 2018 Release is a light smoky dram and forms part of the Easter Elchies collection, named after the rich history of the house on the Macallan grounds. Just under 2000 bottles of this fie limited edition was released, bottled at 49.2% ABV with no colouring. The nose is fresh and citrus soaked with some subtle peat smoke, leading to the palate with oodles more fruit and a sweet peaty twang. The finish is medium and slightly dry with more fruit and peat smoke.
